Terms of Service

By accessing or using HamroPortfolio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of the service.

HamroPortfolio is a portfolio tracking tool for Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) investors. The service allows you to import holdings data from your Mero Share account, view your portfolio performance, and access NEPSE market data. The service is provided free of charge with optional paid features.

Permitted use

You may use HamroPortfolio for your personal, non-commercial portfolio tracking purposes. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the service.

Prohibited use

You may not use the service to violate any applicable laws, infringe on others' rights, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, scrape or copy our market data for use in other products, or use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Since authentication is handled via Google Sign-In, we strongly recommend keeping your Google account secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Not financial advice

HamroPortfolio is a portfolio tracking tool only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. All investment decisions are yours alone.

Data accuracy

We source NEPSE market data from publicly available sources and update prices daily after market close. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that price data is correct, complete, or up-to-date at any given moment. Do not make investment decisions based solely on data shown in this app.

P&L calculations

Profit and loss figures are calculated from the data in your imported CSVs and our daily price feeds. These are estimates for informational purposes only and may differ from your broker's records.

Ownership

You retain full ownership of the portfolio data you upload. By uploading your Mero Share CSV files, you grant us a limited licence to process and display that data to you within the service.

Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring any data you upload is yours and that you have the right to use it with this service.

Free plan

The free plan includes 1 portfolio, daily price updates, and all charts. There is no credit card required to use the free plan.

Pro plan

The Pro plan offers unlimited portfolios and is available via subscription. Pricing is shown in the app. Subscriptions are managed manually — contact us to upgrade or cancel. We do not process card payments directly; payments are made via bank transfer or other agreed methods.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for subscription fees paid. If you believe there has been an error, contact us and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

By you

You may stop using the service at any time. You can delete your portfolio data from within the app. To permanently delete your account, contact us.

By us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for any user who violates these terms, with or without notice.

Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account termination unless required by law to retain it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HamroPortfolio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to investment losses, data loss, or loss of profits. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of any market data.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date. For significant changes, we will notify you via email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
